SEA ISLAND MARINE ENGINEERING
Marine Salvage
SIME worked closely with the USCG Marine Safety Center to refloat a sunken ship in Baltimore that was leaching heavy fuel into the harbor.
Our efforts included developing jets to break suction at the mudline and adding longitudinal ship structure to ensure the vessel was stable during refloating.
We provide engineering support and onsite supervision for marine salvage worldwide.
Adjacent is a shipwreck in Costa Rica where we modeled the hull and damage to refloat the ship and clear a reef.
